The Cabin Creek Road Travelling Regional Manager's Headquarters and Pay Station

This is a fun build, a whimsical build part of a friendly contest among an online community of fine modellers at the beginning
of 2015. This build models the general idea and feel of one of the houses in the Harry Potter movie series. In fact,
there are published architectural drawings of the stage set. The final build is more for taking to shows and entertaining
people, including kids, hopefully! For the purposes of the layout, this structure is known as The Cabin Creek Road
Travelling Regional Manager's Headquarters and Pay Station. The four pictures below are the general inspiration.

Here are pictures of the process of the build. They should be mostly self-explanatory. Please feel free to email or call

The final build is almost 30 inches tall from where the wheels meet the tracks to the top of the pipes. It is sort of 1:24 scale.
One note: this structure travels on the railroad tracks very well, although obviously it isn't going through any
